According to the Moscow City Government’s press office, the factory now operates 556 industrial 3D printers, fulfilling orders for hundreds of companies in sectors ranging from mechanical engineering and medicine to design and retail. Over the past decade, the company has completed more than 13,000 projects and produced over 2 million items, proving that 3D printing has matured into a reliable tool for serial production.
On-Demand Manufacturing Replaces Mass Production
One of the key advantages of additive manufacturing is its flexibility — it replaces mass production with on-demand fabrication. This allows clients to optimize logistics and dramatically reduce costs. For example, one of the factory’s partners eliminated the need to store tens of thousands of spare parts by switching to on-demand 3D printing, cutting expenses by nearly 60%.
