The microcontroller is designed to replace components from foreign manufacturers, including STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Renesas and others. Its architecture is based on the Arm Cortex-M33 core, making it easier to port software from foreign platforms.

Using Optimal+ makes it possible to receive up to 28 localization points for the final product, which is important for equipment supplied to regulated markets. Russian-language documentation and localized support are provided throughout the product's entire life cycle.

The microcontroller is intended for use in industrial automation and security systems. The Module Research and Development Center expects Optimal+ to become one of the company's highest-volume products, with planned annual production exceeding 1 million units.
