Russian Regions Develop More Than 350 AI Solutions for the Public Sector
Top projects are being published on the Tsifrovoy region (Digital Region) portal as regional governments expand the use of artificial intelligence.

Russian regions are increasingly deploying homegrown AI tools in public administration. The best practices are published on the Tsifrovoy region (Digital Region) website, the Russian government said. The platform now lists 350 solutions, up from 150 in October. AI is most commonly used in healthcare, public administration, and security.
Transport and Safety
The Chelyabinsk region has shared its work in transportation. An intelligent system monitors road congestion, traffic speed, and detects incidents. In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, AI is used to maintain order at bus stops and near cultural heritage sites. The neural network is integrated into a video surveillance system equipped with loudspeakers. If someone attempts to damage equipment or disrupt public order, the system issues a warning. If a person remains motionless for an extended period and may have lost consciousness, AI alerts emergency services.
Not Just for Show
A digital twin of the water supply system helps prevent accidents in the Belgorod region. When a pipe bursts, AI identifies the nearest shutoff device. That allows authorities to respond to incidents more quickly.
