Russian Students Build AI Platform to Create 'Superimmunity' Against Hackers

AVAREANGE personalizes cybersecurity training by simulating real-world attacks and adapting to each user’s behavior.

Students at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) have developed AVAREANGE, an experimental cybersecurity platform designed to strengthen organizations against digital threats. The system, which recently completed pilot trials in Russian IT firms, industrial companies, and government offices, uses AI-driven simulations to train employees and build what its creators call 'superimmunity' to hackers.

Unlike traditional training modules, AVAREANGE adapts to each user. It studies behavior, creates a personalized learning program, and runs tailored attack scenarios—delivered via email, messaging apps, or even SMS—to test responses in real time. A neural network–based assistant guides users through their mistakes, offering instant feedback and practical advice.

The platform also features an interactive dashboard that visualizes each employee’s preparedness and the overall threat landscape facing the organization. By turning training into a dynamic, adaptive process, it provides companies with actionable insights and a workforce that reacts faster to real cyberattacks.

Developers say AVAREANGE can scale across industries, from corporations and universities to government agencies and service providers—anywhere people need to be the first line of defense against digital threats.
