Russia’s IT Market Will Continue to Grow in 2026
Russia’s IT market is expected to continue expanding in 2026 as companies shift toward comprehensive, long-term investments in technology

Russia has summarized the results of the IT sector’s development in 2025. According to analysts from the T1 company, the industry grew by 3 percent. Forecasts for next year indicate that the Russian information technology market will expand by another 10 percent.
Experts attribute this momentum to a shift in development models. Russian companies are moving away from one-time purchases of isolated digital tools and toward steady investments in large-scale, integrated IT solutions. Businesses have already seen the economic benefits of adopting new technologies, while developers continue to offer increasingly relevant and in-demand products.
Nearly 4 Trillion Rubles
According to T1, the primary drivers of growth will remain the software and IT services segments. Steady demand is supported by applied software, cybersecurity solutions, and cloud technologies.
The hardware market is expected to decline this year, but in 2026 demand is projected to recover as companies pivot toward domestic manufacturers. In monetary terms, the Russian IT market in 2025 is estimated at no less than approximately $42b.
