Russia’s Largest Carmaker Deploys AI-Powered Tax Monitoring System

AVTOVAZ is teaming up with VK Tech to digitize tax compliance, increasing transparency and automating regulatory reporting by 2025.

Russia’s largest automaker, AVTOVAZ, has partnered with VK Tech to implement a digital tax monitoring system based on the VK Tax Compliance platform. The rollout, expected to be completed by the end of 2025, will streamline regulatory reporting processes and improve interactions with the Federal Tax Service (FNS), according to IT World.

Key stages of the integration—including system design and configuration—have already been completed. The companies are now preparing for target testing. Systems integrator Sinimex is overseeing the configuration of a data interface dashboard, while VK Tech is managing the overall project and securing cryptographic data protection.

AVTOVAZ Executive Vice President for Finance, Evgeny Chukanov, emphasized that the project is not only about regulatory compliance but also about creating a more transparent, technology-driven relationship with tax authorities.

The system has been tailored to fit AVTOVAZ’s IT infrastructure and promises robust reliability. The collaboration may expand to include other VK Tech digital solutions.

This initiative marks a significant step in AVTOVAZ’s digital transformation and reflects broader efforts to modernize Russia’s industrial sector through technology.
