Sberbank Expert: “Generative AI Models Have Matured Enough to Join Expert Communities”
Generative artificial intelligence has reached the level of maturity needed to assist in complex decision-making at national and global scales.

Sergey Markov, Director for AI Technology Development at Sberbank, stated that today’s generative AI models are advanced enough to integrate into expert environments and help improve the quality of decision-making. This evolution highlights Russia’s growing leadership in developing and applying cutting-edge technologies in practice.
According to Markov, these systems have already proven their effectiveness as experimental tools and are being adopted by a number of policymakers.
Neural Networks Enter the Decision-Making Process
The expert clarified that, while critical decisions will always require human oversight, artificial intelligence can already generate ideas for subsequent analysis by professionals.
Experts around the world recognize such systems as valuable tools that enhance their work. Markov’s statement aligns with Russia’s broader digital transformation strategy. Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko announced that integrating AI technologies into public administration will allow the government to personalize services for each citizen—an important step toward a more adaptive and responsive state.
The growing use of AI in analysis and decision-making reflects Russia’s ambition not only to be a technological hub but also a contributor of advanced solutions for global expert and governmental systems.
