Rostec has announced that the integrated control system for the SJ-100 aircraft, developed to replace imported components, has entered the final stage of certification. Over the past three years, the system has undergone around 1,500 tests. Nearly 500 pieces of equipment have been tested for reliability, including under extreme temperature fluctuations. The system was designed with fourfold redundancy across its channels, allowing the aircraft to remain controllable even if individual components fail.

“The integrated control system is one of the aircraft’s key systems, and its reliability requirements are particularly stringent. That is why it is important to test not only individual components, but also how all system elements interact under different conditions, including when individual components fail. The test results help confirm that the system meets safety requirements and is ready for use on the aircraft,” said Kirill Kuznetsov, chief designer of the SJ-100.
