Softime Unveils High-Performance Base Station With Built-In Anti-Fraud Protection
The new system includes automated tools designed to detect and counter network interference attempts.
Russian company Softime has introduced the RADIOS SR 2G/4G base station, a high-performance telecommunications platform built with enhanced security features. The equipment supports both GSM and LTE networks. One of the station’s main features is a new control module that supports customization and simultaneous operation across multiple mobile communication standards.
The base station also includes integrated components capable of automatically detecting and responding to attempts to interfere with network operations.
“Joint efforts by law enforcement agencies and mobile operators to strengthen cybersecurity are a task of national importance, and the use of domestic equipment only supports that goal. Beyond that, Russian-made hardware guarantees uninterrupted servicing that does not depend on the import situation,” said Alexey Alyasev, CEO of Signaltek, Softime’s technology partner.
The company also said the new station can be prepared at any time for operation with 5G communications networks.
