Solar Acquires Stake in Kubernetes Security Developer
Solar Group has acquired a 10% stake in Luntry, a Russian developer of security solutions for containerized applications and Kubernetes-based platforms. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition will allow Solar to expand its portfolio of services for protecting microservices architectures and containerized environments. Luntry's technology helps security teams monitor Kubernetes environments, investigate incidents, and maintain security compliance while supporting rapid software development.
According to Solar's analysts, the Russian container security market reached 1.1 billion rubles (about $14 million) in 2023 and could grow to 2–2.5 billion rubles (approximately $25–31 million) by 2027. Luntry aims to capture up to 20% of that market.
Founded in 2021, Luntry serves major banks, insurance companies, and federal retail chains. The transaction is the first investment made by the Solar Ventures fund.
