Soyuzmultfilm to Open Access to Its Characters via AI Platform
Soyuzmultfilm is preparing to launch an artificial intelligence platform that will allow users to create their own animated content featuring the studio’s classic characters.
“The platform will give users legal access to the studio’s content assets — characters, voices, music, and locations. This is not a standalone project but part of a broader strategy,” said Yuliana Slashcheva, chair of Soyuzmultfilm’s board of directors.
The service is primarily aimed at a broad audience but could also become a useful tool for businesses. Users will be able to create short videos featuring original Soyuzmultfilm characters, with the best works set to be broadcast on the Multilandia TV channel. According to Slashcheva, the platform will also give children an opportunity to suggest how their favorite stories and characters could evolve.
