St. Petersburg Aerospace University Digitizes HR Operations for 2,000 Employees
St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation has deployed the Saby Staff personnel management system, moving 80% of its HR operations online as the university handles staffing workflows for more than 2,000 employees.

GUAP is a major technical university with four campuses and more than 15,000 students. Its HR department operates under constant pressure because many instructors hold positions across multiple departments, while the university hires and offboards roughly 200 employees at the start of each academic year. Previously, the process could take up to a week because documents were collected manually and approved on paper.
The system also automates federal VPO-1 reporting requirements, tracks faculty workloads, and manages business travel requests. University instructors make more than 200 conference trips each year. Staff can now submit travel requests online from any campus building. “Employees no longer need to move between university campuses to process paperwork,” said Yulia Trifonova, head of GUAP’s digital development office.
