Students at SUAI Gain Access to an AI Study Assistant
The Znanium digital library platform has launched an AI-powered assistant for students and staff at Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, integrating the service directly into the library interface.

The assistant operates in a conversational format. Users can ask it to find textbooks on a specific subject or explain concepts from the curriculum. For example, it can respond to requests such as "find biochemistry textbooks published in 2025" or "explain Newton's second law." Each response includes references to the pages of the books used as sources.
Unlike conventional chatbots, Znanium GPT does not access the internet and works exclusively with materials contained in the library's collection. According to the developers, this approach eliminates so-called AI hallucinations because all responses are based solely on verified educational resources.
At launch, each user is allocated between 10 and 15 queries per day.
