The district was one of the organizers of the competition in the Rhythm Simulator discipline, municipal head Andrey Trubetskoy said. IT professionals handled the technical and judging aspects of the event and also tested the new system.

The hardware and software system performs biomechanical analysis, records key parameters, assesses exercise technique and generates reports for coaches. It was developed by Russian researchers and has already received state registration. The system can also be used for remote training and is expected to be incorporated into the rules for the Rhythm Simulator discipline.

“We achieve high accuracy using unique formulas to measure angles. We are also refining a cognitive assessment module that analyzes an athlete’s brain activity during movement,” said Artem Shchepotyev, director of the Center for Digital Sports.
