Tambov Art Gallery Makes Collection Available Online
Forty notable works from the Tambov Regional Art Gallery's collection are now available online through the Artefakt platform as part of the Kultura (Culture) national project.
The digital format allows visitors to examine paintings down to the finest brushstrokes, revealing details that can sometimes be difficult to see even in the museum. Each work is accompanied by its history and commentary from art historians, while the platform also offers an audio guide and a selection of materials on artistic styles, historical periods and the lives of artists.
The collection is now available not only to residents of the region but also to art lovers anywhere in the world. To take a virtual tour, visitors simply need to open the gallery's page on Artefakt, select a painting and open the digital catalog. Access is free, making it possible to explore the collection using only a smartphone or computer.
