Technology Helps Advance Russia’s National Goals
Russian companies are increasingly using IT solutions and digital infrastructure to implement projects in environmental protection, transport, urban development and healthcare.

Russian Business Week
At Russian Business Week organized by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), a forum titled “Responsible Business Practices: Social Aspects of Business Contributions to National Goals” was held. At the event, AFK Sistema presented projects related to digital infrastructure, environmentally friendly transport and medical technologies.
Russian Business Week remains the largest annual event of the RSPP. In the forum’s resolution, participants noted that technological developments by companies are increasingly being applied in socially significant sectors, including healthcare, environmental protection, information accessibility and digital security.
Technological DNA
Green Transport, IT Systems and Medicine
The corporation is developing environmentally friendly transport projects. Electric vessels built at the Emperium shipyard have traveled more than one million kilometers over the past two and a half years. Their use has helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Moscow by 5,500 tons of CO₂ equivalent.
IT solutions are also used in urban infrastructure. In Mordovia, cameras with automatic detection of traffic accidents and emergencies have been installed, while some traffic lights operate under the control of digital systems.
Digital technologies are also being used in healthcare. A pilot deployment of the Sitronics Group healthcare management platform in a state clinic in St. Petersburg has significantly reduced waiting times for hospitalization. AI-based services are also used in the corporation’s network of clinics to analyze medical data and support physicians.
