Transneft Upgrades Remote Monitoring Systems on Two Oil Pipelines
Both pipelines are located in Russia's Republic of Bashkortostan.

Transneft Ural has upgraded the remote monitoring and control systems on two trunk oil pipelines in Bashkortostan as part of a broader program to migrate the company's critical infrastructure to trusted domestically produced IT equipment.
As part of the project, eight remote monitoring system cabinets were installed along the pipeline network. The previously used foreign-made equipment was replaced with systems manufactured by the Industrial Automation Center of Transneft – Automation and Metrology.
The remote monitoring cabinets collect operational data on pipeline conditions and enable operators to control field equipment remotely.
Since the beginning of 2025, Transneft Ural has replaced a total of 46 foreign-made programmable logic controllers with domestically produced equivalents under its technology transition program.
