A resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok, My Fish Place LLC, has developed Fishplace.ru, one of the country’s first digital hubs for wholesale trading, storage, and delivery of fish and seafood. The platform already serves more than 700 companies in the industry.

Before the platform’s launch, the wholesale fish market relied on manual processes, with deals handled via phone calls, messaging apps, and Excel spreadsheets. Fishplace.ru moves the entire workflow into a unified digital environment—from sourcing offers and booking cold storage to electronic document management and transaction tracking.

“The platform addresses a systemic weakness in the fishing industry—its fragmentation and reliance on manual deal-making, which has traditionally been carried out through calls, messaging apps, and spreadsheets,” said Yulia Belikova, CEO of My Fish Place.

Buyers using the service reduce procurement costs by 15–20%, while suppliers increase margins by up to 12%, and warehouses gain a steady flow of orders. More than 130 cold storage facilities are already registered on the platform, with digital turnover exceeding 79,000 tons of products.

The project was implemented with support from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, with investments totaling 31.1 million rubles ($~340,000), and has created 34 jobs. The software is included in the national registry of domestic software maintained by the Ministry of Digital Development.
