MIPT Accelerator Wins Award for Advancing Youth Tech Entrepreneurship
Fiztekh.Ideya (Phystech.Idea accelerator) at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology won the fourth Youth Digital Ombudsman Award, Digitalization for Good, in the special RAEK for Youth category. Program founder and director Nikita Gulin received the award certificate.
The award recognizes projects focused on developing digital technologies, technology entrepreneurship, and the responsible use of information technologies. Organizers highlighted the accelerator’s role in building an educational environment where students can turn scientific and IT ideas into fully developed digital products.
The program guides participants through every stage of development, from an initial concept to prototyping, testing, business-model preparation, and presentations to experts and potential customers. The accelerator places particular emphasis on software development, artificial intelligence applications, data analytics, digital platforms, and process automation. Students also receive guidance on market strategy and attracting external funding and partnerships.
Winning the RAEK for Youth category underscores MIPT’s role in training a new generation of technology entrepreneurs capable of building products with demand from the broader economy and industrial partners.
