i-Teco and VolgSTU Are Set to Train Engineers for Industry
The Industrial Digitalization Center, part of the Aiteko Group, and Volgograd State Technical University are launching a partnership to train IT engineers for the industrial sector.
The partnership is part of the federal Top AI and Top IT programs. All agreements have been signed, and the first educational programs will begin in September. Experts from the Industrial Digitalization Center, working with university faculty and drawing on real-world industrial cases and the company’s technologies – including AI-powered engineering design tools, modules for standardizing regulatory and reference data, and industrial production and safety management systems – will update course materials in four areas: industrial AI systems engineering, data science, applied computer science and software engineering.
VolgSTU’s selection as a partner is not accidental. The Industrial Digitalization Center already has an office in Volgograd, allowing students to gain practical experience and potentially join the large holding company without leaving their hometown. Company employees will serve as guest lecturers and mentors, while internships will give students hands-on experience. This year, the center has opened more than 20 internship positions across five specialized divisions.
