Beget Provides Public IPv6 /64 Subnet for Cloud Servers in All Locations
The solution enables more flexible IT infrastructure design.

Cloud platform Beget has provided a public IPv6 /64 subnet for cloud servers in all locations. It addresses one of the main problems of IPv4-based systems — the limited number of addresses. The new subnet allows public addresses to be allocated to individual services and other resources, while the ability to use the protocol alongside IPv4 makes it possible to gradually introduce it into existing infrastructure without rebuilding it entirely. This approach is particularly relevant for large companies with sprawling infrastructure.
The IPv6 /64 subnet can be connected to any virtual server through the control panel. The solution can be useful for hosting websites and APIs, running containers and Kubernetes clusters, building microservice architecture, and a range of other tasks.
Going forward, Beget plans to expand IPv6 availability to other cloud products, including cloud databases and Kubernetes.
