Russian IT Firm Launches Web App for Office Meals

A new web app called Soupchik is changing how Russian companies feed their employees. The platform streamlines office catering, offering workers choice and companies cost efficiency.

Russian IT company RELEX has introduced a web application called “Soupchik” to help organize meal services for office employees. The platform can be used both by large corporations with corporate dining systems and by food industry enterprises.

Through the app, employees can select dishes they prefer, check their order history, receive notifications about new menu items, and track the status of current orders. If they change their mind, the meal can be reassigned to another colleague.

Russian corporations are actively developing catering systems for staff meals. Soupchik automates purchasing lists, menu planning, and the analysis of dish distribution and food stock levels. Beyond convenience, the system helps companies cut costs.

The backend is built on Node.js, which handles multiple parallel requests and processes data quickly, even in large organizations. The frontend runs on Vue.js, enabling interactive interfaces with fast responses to user actions.
