Energosystems and Technologies Reach a New Level of Import Substitution

The Russian manufacturer of lighting and electrical engineering solutions, Energosystems and Technologies, has implemented a fully domestic low‑code toolchain based on ITSM 365, creating a unified environment for managing IT services and project workflows.

A Unified Workspace for IT and Project Teams

The company reports that its previous system, provided by a Western vendor, lacked a number of key functions—and after the vendor exited the Russian market, further customization became impossible. Engineers were therefore tasked with establishing a full import‑substitution scenario.

According to Maxim Bereza, IT Director at Energosystems and Technologies, teams inside the company handle both IT support and project work simultaneously. “To avoid switching between different tools, we ensured that everything could be managed from a single interface with access to data across both domains,” he explained.

The core service processes and the first internal automation projects were launched in just two months using standard, out‑of‑the‑box capabilities of the domestic platform.

Rapid Evolution of the Digital Stack

During six months of active use, the company's specialists introduced several enhancements: converting support tickets into full project entries while preserving key data; editing project life cycles; modifying the role model; and enabling integration with Power BI for analytics.

“In recent months, the IT department has been operating with virtually no SLA violations. This has had a positive impact on operational speed and directly supports the company’s ability to increase profits.”

Upcoming phases include integration with the document‑management system, configuration of labor‑tracking tools, and implementing an availability calendar for employees.
