Etton Launches My City App for Nizhnekamsk Residents and Tourists
Etton Group has launched the Moy gorod (My City) mobile IT platform, bringing residents, tourists, businesses and city officials together in a single app.
For residents, the service offers easy access to news and alerts and a calendar of local events. It also lets users contact city officials, take part in surveys and votes, consult a guide for common life situations and report problems with the urban environment.
For tourists, the app serves as a mobile guide, helping them plan routes, find events and discover new places. Its intelligent module recommends routes based on a person’s interests, trip duration, weather, season, walking pace, whether they are traveling with children and places they have already visited.
City officials get a single tool for handling residents’ requests, keeping people informed, promoting events and working with businesses. The pilot launched in Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan, where the Moy Nizhnekamsk (My Nizhnekamsk) app is already available for download on all platforms. The system is ready to be rolled out to other cities.
The platform is built on open-source technologies and can be customized to match a city’s branding and specific needs. Adding a new city does not require additional software development.
