Russia’s State Services Portal to Add 35 New Digital Tools in 2025

A major upgrade to the Gosuslugi platform will bring dozens of new digital services to Russian citizens, streamlining everything from court filings to childcare and pet care.

In 2025, Russia’s state services platform Gosuslugi will introduce 35 new digital tools to help citizens and entrepreneurs handle everyday legal and bureaucratic challenges. According to the office of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko, the expansion is aimed at simplifying interactions with government agencies in key areas of life.

Among the new features are services for expectant parents, offering support throughout family planning and childbirth. A new section called 'My Pet' will help pet owners track health updates and locate trusted veterinary clinics. Russians living abroad will gain access to a dedicated set of tools to help them resolve legal and administrative matters from outside the country.

Entrepreneurs will be able to register businesses remotely—including IT and transport companies—claim tax deductions, and receive free legal aid. Citizens will also be able to file lawsuits online, participate in hearings via webcam, enroll children in clubs and sports programs, and arrange summer activities for kids.

Special attention is being paid to people in difficult life situations. New services will assist with bereavement, guardianship, disability paperwork, and access to social care. Previously, the portal launched a section to open special social bank accounts for benefit recipients.
