Kaspersky Lab, one of Russia’s leading IT companies, has revealed how artificial intelligence is reshaping the work of security analysts—boosting detection speed, automating routine tasks, and helping specialists focus on the most complex cyberthreats.

Speaking at the AI Journey forum, Anton Ivanov, head of behavioral detection at Kaspersky Lab, explained that the company analyzes around 15 million suspicious objects every day. From these, nearly 500,000 new malicious programs are identified. In just the first half of 2025, the company blocked 23 million attacks targeting mobile devices.
A new challenge has emerged: cybercriminals are now actively using neural networks to generate phishing pages that are almost indistinguishable from legitimate ones. Yet Russian developers are staying ahead. They rely on AI‑driven automation that processes a significant share of simple and mid‑level incidents, allowing human experts to concentrate on the most sophisticated threats.
