Tech Infrastructure for Good: Russian Nonprofits Gain Access to B2B Technologies

Russian nonprofit organizations are getting free access to digital tools designed to improve operational efficiency and help them scale their work. The marketplace for those IT solutions is Tekhnologii dobra (Technologies of Good), a platform created by Sovcombank in partnership with Sk FintekhKhab. In May, the platform added three new services.

The product lineup for nonprofits has expanded with Workflowsoft’s task management and process automation system from Softline, the Speransky AI-powered contract analysis service, and a CRM platform from Most dannykh (Data Bridge) that includes payment-system and email distribution integrations. Together, these digital tools are designed to reduce legal risks, automate routine operations and make fundraising more transparent and efficient.

Automating Routine Work

Nonprofits need to communicate with donors and beneficiaries, respond to large volumes of messages, send hundreds of emails, manage social media, maintain documentation and handle accounting. At the same time, they often operate with small teams and limited budgets. In practice, digital tools become critical infrastructure under those conditions.

The Most dannykh CRM helps organizations create and manage donor and beneficiary databases, monitor fundraising dynamics and process payments through integrated payment systems. Speransky’s online AI service automatically analyzes contracts and flags details that could create legal risks. Meanwhile, Workflowsoft, according to Softline Integration CEO Vladislav Kotusov, gives managers visibility into key team processes and helps prevent missed deadlines or poorly executed assignments.

From One-Off Assistance to Systemic Support

Through Tekhnologii dobra, B2B products are entering a nonprofit sector that previously had little access to such technologies. The banking platform aggregates products from partner developers, most of them commercial companies looking to contribute to solving social challenges. That helps nonprofits reduce administrative overhead, run socially significant projects in a more systematic way and scale fundraising efforts for charity foundations and their beneficiaries. Step by step, enterprise IT tools are being repurposed for public good.

How the Platform Evolved

Sovcombank and Sk FintekhKhab launched Tekhnologii dobra in 2023 as a nationwide project focused on digital and infrastructure support for nonprofits. In 2024, the platform was upgraded with a user dashboard and a service catalog, making it easier to navigate and use.

Over the past two years, the platform has steadily added new services, including Kombinator for filling out reporting forms, SMMplanner for automated social media posting and the Elkod legal reference system designed to reduce manual work. Today, Tekhnologii dobra brings together 48 products from 35 partners and is used by more than 3,500 nonprofits across nearly every region of Russia.

IT Expertise for Social Inclusion

Tekhnologii dobra shows how banking ecosystems can transfer IT expertise into the social sector. “Demand for digital solutions for nonprofits continues to grow every year, while technologies, automation and IT platforms are becoming the foundation for the sector’s development. We are already expanding support for these projects: grant programs have been broadened, funding amounts have increased and specialized initiatives tailored to socialtech needs are being launched,” Alexey Parshikov, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Partner Relations at the Skolkovo Foundation, said at the Tekhnologii dobra forum in November last year.

For Russia’s digital economy, that marks a broader shift from pure technology commercialization toward social inclusion through technology, where the end result is tangible public benefit.

Expanding the platform’s product lineup is a direct response to real demand from participants. We are systematically working to ensure that social entrepreneurs and nonprofits receive not only financial support, but also modern technological tools. That allows them to focus on what matters most – solving social challenges, while routine operations are automated
