Russian Red Cross and Rostelecom Protect Donor Data From Leaks
The Russian Red Cross (RRC) and Rostelecom have completed a project to protect confidential information.

The organization has deployed SolarDozor, a data loss prevention (DLP) system that safeguards the personal data of donors and beneficiaries. The system was developed by Solar Group, a Rostelecom subsidiary. As part of a charitable initiative, Solar Group provided the RRC with a license free of charge. The system monitors data traffic and blocks leaks in real time, processing up to 200 Gbps of email traffic and up to 600 Gbps of network traffic.
Following a series of attacks on the RRC website in 2024, the organization has already taken several steps to strengthen its cybersecurity. From 2021 to 2025, it provided assistance to more than 8.6 million people and raised over 10 billion rubles (about $120 million). Approximately one-third of that funding came from the government.
