MVD and Gazprombank Are to Launch AI Center for Migrant Incident Analysis
Russia's Interior Ministry and Gazprombank plan to open an artificial intelligence-based analytics center to handle migrant-related incidents, Kirill Adzinov, deputy head of the Interior Ministry's migration service, said at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
"We can achieve these goals only by integrating artificial intelligence into our work. Together with Gazprombank, we will create a major analytics center within the MVD that will allow us to conduct high-quality analysis of migrant incidents, process information from media outlets and messaging platforms, and engage proactively with people," he said.
According to Adzinov, AI will be the tool that delivers high-quality labor market analytics. The new center will be able to monitor publications in news media and messaging services, as well as conduct preventive outreach with citizens.
