HeadHunter Launches Inclusive Hiring Platform
Russia’s largest recruiting platform, HeadHunter, has launched a new tool designed to help people with disabilities find suitable jobs, according to the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI).

The new “Platforma ravnykh vozmozhnostey” (Equal Opportunities Platform) is aimed at removing one of the biggest barriers in hiring: the lack of clear information about workplace conditions. Employers can now label vacancies as accessible and specify categories including visual, hearing, mobility, mental health, or chronic health conditions. Companies can also indicate whether positions offer remote work, flexible schedules, or adapted workplaces. Job seekers, in turn, can filter openings using those criteria.
According to hh.ru, only 3.9% of vacancies are currently marked as accessible for people with disabilities, while employment among this group remains at 27.5%. The project was developed jointly with ASI following a large-scale study involving employers, nonprofits, and labor market experts.
