NEK TECH and Astra Group to Develop Joint Solutions for the Power Industry
The Companies Have Signed a Technology Cooperation Agreement.
The NEK TECH Scientific and Technical Center and Astra Group have signed a technology cooperation agreement. The announcement was made during the Microelectronics 2026 Forum in Sochi. The companies will work together to develop new data collection and transmission devices with built-in information security features for critical information infrastructure facilities in the power industry. The partnership is intended to support implementation of a Russian presidential decree on information security and strengthening the country’s technological sovereignty.
“NEK TECH is one of Russia’s leading developers of communications and measurement devices. Astra Group’s Russian software will help us develop digital infrastructure, improve our own IT products and provide a foundation for new joint projects. Our cooperation with Astra Group is strategically important for ensuring the technological independence of integrated solutions developed by the NEK Group,” said Dmitry Zaretsky, CEO of NEK TECH LLC.
