At an interactive exhibition held during AI Week at the Russian Government’s administrative offices, developers presented domestic AI solutions that are already being used—or are ready to be deployed—in healthcare.

A neural network designed to analyze MRI scans of children under 12 months old was the centerpiece of the exhibition. It was developed by students from the Yandex B2B Tech School of Data Analysis together with specialists from St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University.

The system measures the volumes of gray and white matter, helping doctors diagnose developmental disorders of the central nervous system, particularly cerebral palsy, more quickly. Speed is critical in such cases: the earlier the condition is detected, the more effective treatment and rehabilitation can be for young patients. The technology’s accuracy exceeds 90 percent.

AI Tools for Documents and Delivery Robots

The exhibition also featured AI solutions for processing clinical trial documents and automatically removing personal data, the universal AI model GigaChat, and a smart ring designed to monitor health indicators.

Medication and lab samples will be transported across hospitals by a delivery robot, while a humanoid robot developed by the team can navigate spaces independently, avoid obstacles, and interact with objects.
