New SAUK Detector Pro Version Boosts RFID System Efficiency

A new upgrade of the SAUK Detector Pro enhances the performance of RFID systems used at access control points, industrial facilities, warehouses, parking lots, and logistics sites

Enhanced Architecture and Performance

SAUK has introduced an upgraded version of the SAUK Detector Pro, a precision instrument designed to fine‑tune RFID systems operating in the UHF range. Updated circuitry and optimized manufacturing processes significantly reduce production time and minimize human‑factor risks. Improved antenna tuning increases both sensitivity and resistance to interference.

A Tool for Accurate Field Diagnostics

The SAUK Detector Pro is a unique device for assessing the stability of the electromagnetic field in the UHF RFID band. It measures the quality of signal reception and command execution from any EPC Class1 Gen2‑compliant UHF RFID reader.

This makes the detector indispensable in environments with reflected signals or complex interference patterns.

Field Range and Indication

In its standard configuration, the device operates at distances of up to 13–14 meters when paired with an RFID system set to 1 watt of effective radiated power. Visual indicators provide feedback on field quality and the stability of RFID command reception.

“The main challenge of any UHF RFID system is blind zones, which cannot be detected without specialized equipment. The SAUK Detector Pro solves this instantly—even for already‑installed systems,” said SAUK CEO Andrey Krasovsky, PhD. “The updated version quickly evaluates the reliability of RFID signal reception, identifies areas where tags will not be read, and helps configure systems to ensure full operational compliance with customer requirements.”
