Doza Research and Production Enterprise is developing an automated radiation monitoring system for the El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant, the first nuclear power plant to be built in Egypt.

The Avtomatizirovannaya sistema radiatsionnogo kontrolya (Automated Radiation Monitoring System) will be a key part of the plant’s infrastructure, helping maintain safety both inside working areas and across the surrounding site.

Completing the full development cycle for the automated radiation monitoring system for the plant’s four power units will take two to three years. The project will include developing technical approaches, obtaining approval for technical documentation, manufacturing equipment, conducting multiple stages of testing, deploying the system at the nuclear plant and commissioning it in phases.

“The El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant project will expand Doza’s international portfolio of radiation monitoring systems for nuclear power facilities, which already includes projects in Türkiye, Bangladesh, Bolivia and other countries. The project is being carried out in close cooperation with Russian and international companies,” the company’s press service said.
