The first trades have been completed on the T Plyus (T Plus digital energy marketplace), a new platform designed to enable direct transactions in the electricity market. Industrial companies in the Udmurt Republic were among the first to test the service, purchasing power through the platform operator.

The launch of the platform was announced in March as part of a pilot project by Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses. The system allows companies to procure electricity directly from suppliers rather than through intermediaries.

Developers built the platform with a user-friendly interface that enables clear comparisons of pricing and contract terms. After a contract expires, buyers will also have access to analytics in their account dashboard, including hourly consumption data.

The platform’s functionality is expected to expand over time. Planned features include the sale of green energy certificates, metering equipment, and other services designed to attract a broader range of users.
