Rosatom and Teletech Agree to Set Up Local Assembly of Energy Storage Systems in Egypt
The planned local production facility could have an annual capacity of 500 megawatt-hours (MWh).

Rosatom’s Fuel Division and Egyptian technology company Telecom and Technology have signed an agreement to establish local assembly of energy storage systems in the North African country. The agreement also provides for training local personnel. The facility could have an annual production capacity of 500 MWh.
Rosatom’s fuel division is developing a complete energy storage manufacturing chain, from producing essential components to final assembly of traction batteries. Cooperation with Egyptian partners will lay the technological groundwork for deploying modern energy storage solutions in the country’s power sector, telecommunications networks, data centers, oil and gas industry, and other industrial applications.
