Rosatom Unveils Its First Industrial Robot Under the AIM Brand

The state corporation showcased the new machine at the groundbreaking of the “Klyuch” industrial park near Moscow.

Russia’s state nuclear corporation, Rosatom, has introduced its own industrial robot line under the AIM brand. The debut took place during the groundbreaking ceremony for the state-backed “Klyuch” industrial park in Dmitrov, outside Moscow. The new robots, produced by Rosatom subsidiary AtomIntelMash, are designed to handle a wide range of manufacturing tasks, including machine servicing, metalworking, stamping, milling, palletizing, and more.

During the event, one robot demonstrated its extensive welding capabilities — a skillset applicable not only to the nuclear sector but also to other areas of manufacturing.

AtomIntelMash director Alexander Petrov said that the creation of the “Klyuch” industrial park will be a critical step in advancing competitive Russian technologies across high-tech industries, including robotics. The park’s name is symbolic — “Klyuch” means “key” in Russian — and the site is being developed as a full-service hub. It will offer ready-to-use infrastructure, turnkey production facilities, office and administrative buildings, as well as recreational areas, sports venues, parks, shops, and cafes.
