NIIgrafit JSC, part of Rosatom, will develop equipment for manufacturing unfired ceramic tape using the tape-casting method. The material is used to produce components for the microelectronics industry.

One of the project's key requirements, with funding of 257 million rubles (~$3.3 million), is to ensure high precision and consistent material quality. Among other requirements, the new equipment must include an automated control system capable of storing process recipes, managing user access rights, and performing an emergency shutdown in the event of critical deviations.

In addition, the contractor must ensure a high level of localization. All major components of the equipment will be manufactured in Russia. The developers must also ensure a service life of at least 10 years and a mean time between failures of no less than 1,000 hours. The equipment must be completed by the end of October 2028.
