Russian Company Launches Cloud-Based Email Platform to Replace Western Services

Novomail, developed by Reg.ru, is designed to rival MailChimp and SendGrid with tools tailored for the Russian market.

Russian tech company Reg.ru has introduced a new cloud platform for mass email campaigns called Novomail, designed to replace Western platforms like MailChimp and SendGrid. The system supports integrated marketing campaigns, subscriber management, and high email deliverability while complying with Russian data protection regulations.

Novomail offers integration with leading CRM systems, supports multichannel communication including SMS and push notifications, and includes A/B testing and content personalization features. According to Novomail CEO Konstantin Kukovyakin, the platform has been in development since 2023 and is now fully equipped to compete with foreign counterparts while offering localized enhancements.

Security and reliability were key priorities. Evgeny Martynov, CTO of Reg.ru, emphasized that the cloud infrastructure delivers 99.95 percent uptime, scales easily to handle peak loads, and minimizes data processing risks. These features make Novomail especially relevant amid rising demand for domestic IT solutions.

Industry analysts note that the shift toward Russian-developed software, including FSTEC-certified systems, is emerging as a strong national trend.
