Russian and Chinese Scientists to Develop AI Technologies for Urban Environments
Novosibirsk State University has agreed to cooperate with the Shenzhen Association of New Energy Manufacturers.

A Russian university is set to work with Chinese specialists on deploying artificial intelligence in urban environments, according to the press service of Novosibirsk State University.
The university operates a Research Center for Artificial Intelligence that conducts fundamental research, trains IT specialists, and develops smart city technologies.
During a visit to China, staff from the center signed a cooperation agreement with the Shenzhen Association of New Energy Manufacturers. The association brings together around 300 developer companies and focuses on promoting and advancing innovation.
Joint Forum and Smart Campus
As noted by Alexander Lyulko, director of NSU’s AI Research Center, the region hosts hundreds of high-tech companies, and cooperation with them will be highly beneficial for the university. Chinese specialists, he said, have also shown strong interest in the work of their Russian counterparts, with joint projects already under discussion.
