Russian Students Will Design the Server of the Future

Russian teens in St. Petersburg will take on an ambitious engineering challenge: designing next-generation server platforms for the country’s most demanding digital projects

Immersive Engineering for the Next Decade

The Trinity company, a Russian server hardware manufacturer, has invited high school students in St. Petersburg to design the architecture of a future server platform intended for large-scale national systems. The initiative is part of the #NESLOZHNO competition organized by the Academy of Technical Creativity and Digital Technologies.

Participants will explore real-world IT challenges across domains such as digital healthcare, smart agriculture, logistics, digital twins, and personalized education. Their task includes defining sector-specific problems, forming the mission of the solution, selecting hardware components, and developing the structure and design of a server built for the next 10–15 years.

From Systems Analysts to Interface Designers

According to Sergey Ovsyannikov from Trinity, the project bridges education and industry needs, giving teens the opportunity to test roles ranging from system analysts and architects to interface designers. Participants learn to justify technological choices, simulate workloads, and propose ideas grounded in real hardware constraints.

By engaging students in solving modern engineering challenges, the program strengthens the talent pipeline needed for Russia’s digital transformation.

A Launchpad for Future Engineers

The final project presentations are scheduled for January 2026. #NESLOZHNO has been held since 2022, helping high school students make informed career choices in advanced technology fields.
