Russian Students Compete in AI Tournament in China
At the International Youth Competition on Artificial Intelligence in Heihe, Russian and Chinese students showcased AI-driven innovations for healthcare, education, transport, agriculture, and even culture—strengthening ties between the two countries’ universities.
Students from Russian universities took part in the 7th International Youth Competition on Artificial Intelligence, held in the Chinese city of Heihe. Eight teams from both countries presented innovative AI-based solutions for different industries.
The participants demonstrated new ways in which artificial intelligence can significantly improve sectors such as healthcare, education, transportation, agriculture, and culture.
The goal of the event was to expand scientific, technological, and cultural exchange between Russia and China, as well as to train specialists ready to thrive in the digital era.
One of the universities represented at the competition was Amur State University (AmSU). Alongside traditional disciplines, it offers a program in “Modern Artificial Intelligence Technologies” and conducts experiments applying AI in various fields.
