The platforms are being tested within the secure government network of the GAS Pravosudiye (Justice state court information system).

"Judges and court staff are being invited to evaluate, in a test environment, the capabilities of several artificial intelligence platforms for converting audio recordings of court hearings into written transcripts, as well as to identify other promising applications of AI technologies in court operations," the agency's press service said.

At the same time, the V. M. Lebedev Russian State University of Justice is training AI models for use directly during court proceedings. According to university rector Olga Tisen, the system is expected to be rolled out across courts nationwide after training is completed.

"The plan is for this system to be used by courts throughout Russia after training is completed, helping reduce the risk of errors," she said.
