Russian Marketplace Launches Parcel Delivery Between Pickup Points
Special logistics routes allow most shipments to reach customers ahead of schedule.
RVB, the joint company formed by Wildberries & Russ, has launched a service that allows parcels to be sent between Wildberries pickup points across Russia. All pickup locations have been connected to the peer-to-peer shipping service known as WB Track.
Online and Offline Options
Most parcels are sent via the Wildberries mobile app. However, customers can also ship parcels directly from a Wildberries pickup point. Identity checks and payment confirmation are handled through the mobile application.
According to Kim, the company’s logistics routes allow most shipments to arrive ahead of schedule. Several hundred thousand customers have already taken part in the pilot phase, and demand for the service continues to grow.
