Yandex Browser Adds AI Chat to Every Web Page
The new Split View mode allows users to work with two windows at the same time.
Yandex Browser now offers a built-in dialogue with an AI assistant on every web page, the company’s press service said. The new feature, called Split View, displays two active windows at once and allows users to work with different types of content without switching tabs. According to the company, the internet assistant can create materials based on the content of the open page, for example generating posts for social media, and it can even process content that cannot be clicked or highlighted.
Smart Use of Popular Tools
Split View is activated by pressing the “Ask Alisa AI” button. Users can ask questions or choose from answers generated automatically by the AI based on the open page. The system allows users to watch a video, work with a PDF file, and ask the AI questions at the same time. This setup can be useful when preparing for exams. If the text of a problem cannot be selected, Alisa can explain it in simpler terms and even generate similar tasks for practice.
