Kaspersky, one of the world’s leading cybersecurity developers, has placed its educational content on Moskovskaya Elektronnaya Shkola (Moscow Electronic School), the company’s press service said. The MES library now includes online lectures on protecting personal data and recognizing online fraud. The lessons are designed for both children and adults.

A cyber hygiene course teaches users how to handle devices and navigate the internet safely, and gives teachers tools to create engaging homework assignments. An interactive series titled Mama, ya budu blogerom (Mom, I’m Going to Be a Blogger) focuses on safe online behavior. The study Vzroslye v internete (Adults on the Internet) examines children’s digital habits and outlines the basics of digital parenting. The book Azbuka kiberbezopasnosti (Cybersecurity Alphabet) explains how to protect against scammers.

For Millions of Children and Adults

As Andrei Sidenko, head of children’s online safety at Kaspersky, stressed, the materials are not limited to students. They are also available to adults and aim to help them navigate online risks.

“To provide students with the most up-to-date knowledge, we are continuously expanding the MES library’s collection of educational materials. This has been made possible through cooperation between Moskovskaya Elektronnaya Shkola and leading IT companies and content developers,” said Evgeny Komarenko, deputy head of the Moscow Department of Information Technology.

Moskovskaya Elektronnaya Shkola is a digital education system for students, teachers, and parents. Millions of children and adults across Russia have access to up-to-date learning materials, the MES library, and other interactive services.
