The Higher School of Economics in Moscow has partnered with Yandex, VK, and Sberbank to update curricula for training top-tier AI specialists.

At the Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow, a strategic meeting brought together representatives from Russia’s leading tech companies — Sberbank, Yandex, and VK. The parties agreed to regularly update curricula to reflect the latest industry developments and better prepare students in the field of artificial intelligence.
In May 2025, the university secured a government grant under the federal “Artificial Intelligence” program. With state support, HSE will train world-class talent through computer science programs in Moscow and at its St. Petersburg campus.
Following the meeting, the university and its industry partners finalized the content of educational programs aligned with the competency model of the “Top AI” grant. They also established admissions procedures for these elite tracks.
