Sber and Yevreyskaya Autonomous Oblast to Launch Digital Transformation of Key Industries
Sberbank and the government of the Jewish Autonomous Region have signed an agreement to develop artificial intelligence and digital technologies in the region.
Speaking on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum, German Gref, president and chairman of the executive board of Sberbank, said the bank would help improve the efficiency of public administration in the region using process and visual analytics tools, including the Navigator BI platform.
The agreement also focuses on the social sector. The parties plan to jointly digitalize healthcare, education and public transportation, as well as share expertise and hold joint educational programs in finance, analytics and artificial intelligence.
Maria Kostyuk, governor of the region, said the agreement would give the region access to digital solutions that have already demonstrated their effectiveness in other parts of Russia and help deliver practical results in areas that directly affect people’s quality of life.
