Moscow Region Launches AI Tool to Decode Lab Tests
The new service uses artificial intelligence to interpret laboratory results and highlight potential health risks in plain language.

The Moscow Region has become the first in Russia to roll out an AI-powered laboratory test interpretation service within the Dobrodel Zdorovye app, the regional Health Ministry said.
The system automatically analyzes uploaded test results, flags potential health risks, and provides patients with clear, accessible explanations and recommendations.
He emphasized that the system’s recommendations do not constitute a medical diagnosis and that treatment decisions remain the exclusive responsibility of a physician.
Support in Reviewing Medical Tests
Earlier, officials reported that 74 Russian regions had connected to the capital’s MosMedAI platform. The system assists doctors in analyzing mammography, fluorography, chest X-rays, and CT scans of the brain and chest.
Parents can also analyze children’s health data using an AI-powered module integrated into the Propomoshch platform. By uploading lab results along with a description of symptoms, users receive suggested diagnostic options and recommendations for additional examinations, taking medical history into account.
