Compatibility Becomes the New Gold in Tech

Russian developers SberTech (SberTech), part of the Sber ecosystem, and Raidix (Raidix) have completed compatibility testing of their products. According to projections, running their solutions in tandem could reduce service failures and errors while opening up new performance opportunities.

Representatives of SberTech and Raidix tested the compatibility of their products – the server operating system Platform V SberLinux OS Server and the latest version of RAIDIX ERA 4.4 software designed to build high-performance RAID arrays using flash storage.

Boosting Server Performance

Platform V SberLinux OS Server is an enterprise-grade Russian server operating system designed to support secure and fault-tolerant IT infrastructure. Today, more than 300,000 servers run on this platform.

The operating system is listed in the Russian software registry and holds certification from FSTEC. It is compatible with a wide range of widely used tools and applications from domestic vendors. RAIDIX ERA, in turn, is a software RAID solution for flash storage, including a Linux kernel module and a management utility. Testing showed that using the two products together can increase server platform performance by more than 15% compared with alternative open-source solutions. Experts attribute this improvement to higher input/output operations per second and increased throughput.

Compatibility as a Source of Stability

The successful interoperability of SberTech and Raidix products is expected to make Russia’s server infrastructure more reliable. That translates directly into benefits for everyday users: banking services, government platforms, digital ecosystems, and industrial and telecom systems should run more consistently, with fewer outages and service disruptions.

At the same time, software requirements in Russia are becoming more stringent, while the IT sector continues to expand amid import substitution efforts. The ability to deploy products from two domestic vendors as part of a unified stack is not just a marketing claim – it reflects a real and growing demand among users. Over time, broader adoption of locally developed solutions and stronger collaboration between vendors is likely to reduce reliance on foreign software.

Market Demand for Integrated Solutions

Experts expect the now-validated solutions to gain traction across the domestic market, including data centers, cloud platforms, financial institutions, industrial enterprises, and telecom operators. Wider adoption of Russian IT products could further strengthen the country’s technological foundation.

Collaboration between developers also highlights a broader shift: Russia is assembling its own infrastructure stacks, combining operating systems, software, servers, and security tools. In today’s market, having a standalone product is no longer enough. Vendors must prove that their solutions can operate within a compatible ecosystem, handle heavy workloads, and deliver consistent performance.

The compatibility of SberTech and Raidix software products allows us to guarantee reliable performance of high-load platforms running on a domestic operating system. Together, RAIDIX ERA and Platform V SberLinux OS Server enable higher transaction volumes and faster execution of business processes. As a combined solution, our tools ensure stability and efficiency in mission-critical environments, where every second counts
